Bataan church collections go to ‘Odette’ victims

Balanga Diocese Bishop Ruperto C. Santos said on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, that collections from different parish churches on December 25 and 26 shall become “Christmas gifts of compassion and charity” for the victims of typhoon ‘Odette.’
In a text message to this reporter, Bishop Santos said:
“In solidarity with our brothers and sisters affected by typhoon Odette, heeding the call of CBCP let us have second collections on December 25 and 26 be our Christmas gifts and compassion.”
He added: “We let them feel we care and so concerned with their well-being, and from here in Bataan we are family to them.”
“We are helping them. We give them healing. Like Bataan, we will rise up,” Santos added.
